Agriculture still remains the backbone of rural economy, however, the problem of low agricultural productivity, reducing farmer’s income, decreasing cultivable lands, etc. are still prevalent. Vanarai empowers the farmers with scientific approaches and practices keeping in mind the local ecosystem, soil type, water availability, weather conditions and does capacity building for farmers by adopting favorable cropping patterns to increase productivity & output. Additionally, the farmers are empowered to even explore opportunities on value-added agricultural produces.
