Vanarai Eco Clubs started in 2002 with the objective to spread awareness about environment conservation in the minds of the young population. To date, more than 200000 school kids have participated in various activities of our Eco Club as follows:

Vanarai Bunds
Vanarai Bund is a breakthrough Cost-Effective development by Vanarai.
Every year more than 3,00,000 of these are executed all across Maharashtra.
The other States have started adopting this technique due to its affordability & credibility.
It is a cost-effective tool for Water Conservation under Watershed management for Rural India.

Watershed Training Center
Watershed management is a vast concept to understand. We at Vanarai always felt that it should be a
part of the academic curriculum for Agricultural universities. Vanarai developed a Watershed Model in
Mahatma Phule Agriculture University (Dist. Pune) This Training center was aimed to raise awareness on
scientific ways of soil-water conservation through watershed treatments amongst the villagers, farmers,
students, elected representatives etc.
